For Lent, we are reading the Psalms- a profound, though sometimes confusing book of songs and poetry written thousands of years ago.  Week 1 we looked briefly at Psalm 68, but spent more time setting the stage for the Psalms and how to read them.  Like psalmist who was expecting God to show up in the temple, may we expect God to show up in the reading and reciting of the Psalms.

March 1: Psalm 1 (wisdom psalm)
March 8: Psalm 139 (individual lament)
March 15: Psalm 137 (communal lament)
March 22: Psalm 67 (thanksgiving)
March 29: Psalm 100 (praise)
