This Sunday we took a good look at a passage from Isaiah. This complicated but vivid passage helped us set the theme for advent. Advent, in the traditional Christian calendar, is about waiting. It’s almost like resetting the story back to the beginning where there is a need for something to break into the world. Advent is a time of waiting. I hope that you can find a time of anticipation and waiting this time of year too.
